Chang, Yü-Chüan.-Born in Canton, 1880. Married, 1907. Studied at Anglo-Chinese College, Foochow, 1890-91; at Queen's College, Hongkong, 1892-93; at Peiyang University, Tientsin, 1894-97; at Imperial Tokyo University, Tokyo, Japan, 1898-99. Awarded various prizes for high standing in Chinese and English and Athletics, 1892, 1895 and 1896. Arrived in America, August, 1901. Government support.
