張彭春 字仲述。年二十五歲。生於直隸天津。兄伯苓。天津南開學校校長。未婚。初學於南開學校。及直隸高等學堂。宣統二年。以官費游美。入克拉克大學。習心理及社會學。民國二年。得學士學位。入哥侖比亞大學。習哲學敎育。民國四年。得碩士學位。爲北美中國基督敎學生會書記。編有新劇三種。經留美學生在紐約等地演唱。爲學校辯論團團員。留美學生月報編輯。留美靑年編輯。民國五年回國。任天津南開學校敎務長。通信處。天津南開學校。
Chang, Peng-Chun.-Born in Tientsin, 1892. Studied at Nankai School, Tientsin, 1904-7; at Chihli Provincial College, Pao-Ting, 1908-9. Arrived in America, September, 1910. Government support. Studied Psy-chology and Social Science at Clark University, 1910-13; Education and Philosophy at Columbia University, 1914-15. A.B., 1913; A.M., 1915. Secretary, Chinese Students' Christian Association in North America, 1913-15. Author of "The New Order Cometh", "The Intruder" and "The Awakening", three plays produced and played by Chinese students at New York and other places. Member, Varsity Debating Team, 1912-13. Editor: Chinese Students' Monthly, 1912-13; Liu-Mei-Tsing-Nien, 1914-16. Returned to China, July, 1916. Dean, Nankai College, Tientsin, 1916 to date.
