該議定書（protocol）是中緬兩國政府在一九六零年十月一日締結《邊界條約》之後締結的、就兩國邊界這一具體問題的專門性、輔助性或補充性的附加文件，更加具體、詳細地劃定了兩國邊界，並附有地圖。
